Our model of “action-research”, which is diagrammed in the image, is based on generating knowledge and identifying effective strategies that adapt to a specific cultural environment, evaluating their impact in pilot or demonstration projects before generalizing their implementation in clinical practice. From this process, new hypotheses to investigate and test emerge, following the same cycle.
Between 2013 and 2015, our group participated in 21 research projects, 13 national and 8 international. Of these, 15 projects are multicentric or coordinated and 8 are individual. The group has taken a leading role in 10 of the national projects and in 3 of the international projects.
During the same period, 38 articles were published in peer-reviewed journals and 45 conferences were presented at the national and international level.
